One of the leading blog platform updated to its next version named WordPress 2.8.

I have updated my blog with the WordPress 2.8 version I noticed too many changes in the ‘Theme – Widget’ section. It was confusing at first sight but then I get practiced with it in just 10 minutes and It was quite appreciable change in it.

Also you will see ‘Add to paragraph’ tag on every widget you add, which I haven’t understood yet.

Dashboard and all other access levels are as same as the 2.7 version but still you’ll notice significant changes in loading speed of WordPress 2.8. May be they have included some cache facility inside WordPress new codes.

We can now directly add the themes and plug ins from wordpress.org database. It is classified as upload, recommended, featured and all plug ins and themes. By providing ftp details we can directly install the themes and plug ins from our dashboard easily and quickly.

I have seen many of changes in this version of WordPress 2.8 according to my comfort but you can see more updates here which are officially declared by WordPress.
