Google Giving Quick Boost To Newly Published Post

Google Giving Quick Boost To Newly Published Post

I have noticed some really great feature of search engine ranking strategies of Google in last few days & I hope this is not allowing traditional SEO strategies to work greatly.

What Quick Boost Basically Means?

After you publish any post, It is quickly indexed by Google & indexed on very higher rankings for next 2-3 hours. But for this you should at least have a well indexed blog.

This listing gives you increased volume of traffic for short period & then your post like disappears from Search results & thrown back to its position, where it is supposed to be.

Because it throws you back at your original listing, you re not getting the SERP juice for the very long time, but some new blogs get good exposure for short period & they’ll get benefits if they have really a quality contents.

It can increase the amount of your subscribers & readers in small time. This quick boost helps much more to daily bloggers, as they get listed higher every day, they can grow quite a faster rates. And it can also harm some long duration frequent bloggers like monthly or weekly bloggers.

What about the web pages deserves that ‘First Position’ ?

Search engine calculates Pagerank with lot of efforts, then what about the quality web pages that deserves the fair position in search engines.

They loose their traffic during these 2-3 hours, but imagine that if many bloggers get constantly listed on same keyword, the original owner of that position will never gain it again …. Isn’t it ?

But I guess this is just accidentally happening or it is tested in experimental basis in Google labs or it is just happening with me. But I am writing this only after testing it on 3 of my blogs on various conditions.

So we hope this is just a small time change tested by Google & sooner it will retrieve its original SEO strategy.

  2. I would say this depends on the authority google has given your blog. If you blog is fairly new, your post would be hidden in one of the pages. If your blog is already known to google, your post would rank high if the niche is not that competitive. But if your blog is an authority blog, then it would rank high for competitive niches. I have seen new articles on news websites that have beaten sites that are optimized for a keyword.

That’s very interesting, I’ve never heard of that before. I suppose submitting new posts to social bookmarking sites may help alert Google that something new and important is going on with your site.
