You create web presence of your thinking. Your blog get listed in directories and search engines like Google and MSN, from their internet surfers search for your blog.

People of similar interest as of your niche (subject) reads your blog.

You can also earn money from your blog if you have good web traffic.

You can also track visitors details and also sell your products through your blog.

So this is the simple and clean concept of blogging.
